Office Products Designed to fit into an existing brand: Design Within Reach
My Approach
To create products that fit alongside DWR's existing lineup, I analyzed their existing products to find trends and design themes from brands like Herman Miller and Knoll.
Vision and Innovation
My goal was to create something minimal, professional, and modern that took inspiration from Herman Miller's Formwork collection and combined it with wooden accents. I also pictured which environments these products could end up being placed in.

Product 1: Tape Dispenser
For this tape dispenser, my goal was to have hidden internals, only showing the user how much tape was left and where they could grab more. This took deliberate engineering of the inside, but paid off very well.

Product 2: Pen Holder
A pen holder is a simple product, and while I had thought through having extra features or a technical design, I found that a minimal, simple design would serve the purpose the best.

Product 3: Paper Organizer
For the paper organizer, I wanted to ensure there was extra room for products other than paper, as is common on desks nowadays. Whether that be pens, small notebooks, or post-its, having extra divided space can be a huge help.

Product 4: Laptop Stand
The goal for this product was to offer an aesthetically pleasing solution to a traditionally under considered product. By holding the device vertically, it also frees up space on the user's desk.
