In the United States, 15 million people engage in trail running, where they drive out to a trailhead and take their run into nature. This combines the benefits of exercise with the peace of nature, and makes running more interesting by mixing up the terrain and scenery.
What's the Problem?
Trail runners have a lot of stuff, which becomes a headache to transport and organize. On top of this, when they are done with their run, they are faced with the problem of handling their dirty, sweaty gear in an organized manner that doesn't leave all of their other things just as dirty.
2 Problem Areas
Cleanliness: keeping clean and dirty gear separate and keeping the smell from staining the inside of the vehicle.
Organization: managing the organization and transportation of 12+ items in a way that empowers the user to get out the door faster.
Using generative design, this Jeep accessory's mounting plate is optimized to support as much as possible while using as little material as possible.
